We offer comprehensive municipal engineering design services for all land development projects, including detailed engineering design of:
- sanitary and storm sewers and appurtenances,
- watermains and appurtenances,
- complete roadway profiles and cross-sections, and
- grading and erosion and sediment controls
The detailed engineering design process often includes coordination with additional specialist consultants such as geotechnical consultants, environmental consultants, utility/electrical consultants, acoustical consultants, and landscape architects. In conjunction with our contract administration services, we provide complete quantity take-off services, municipal cost estimating, assistance with Clients’ Development Agreement schedules, tendering of municipal works, tender analyses, and finalization of municipal servicing contract documents.
Stormwater Management

Low Impact Development (LID)
We deliver expert stormwater management engineering design services from preliminary engineering to detailed engineering designs, and contract administration for various types of stormwater management facilities. These services include:
- watershed hydrology and watercourse hydraulics,
- detailed engineering design of all types of stormwater management and LID facilities,
- flood control and erosion assessments,
- feature based water balance assessments, and
- support for and coordination of Regulation Permit processes.
We offer complete design services for the provision of Low Impact Design (LID) works including involvement in the development of applicable design guidelines for various Municipalities and Conservation Authorities.
We work collaboratively and coordinate with additional specialized consultants such as hydrogeologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, arborists, and landscape architects to deliver these services.
Contract Administration
Construction Inspection
We provide consulting engineering contract administration services for all of our municipal and stormwater management detailed engineering design services including:
- formulating a complete tender document including quantity take-offs and construction specifications.
- full-time or part-time resident construction inspection
- review and preparation of all associated change orders and payment certificates,
- all post construction inspections for issuance of Substantial Performance documentation and in pursuit of preliminary and final acceptances/ assumption of the municipal works,
- general assistance to Clients on all contractual matters related to their contracts with the constructors, and
- letter of Credit reductions and releases throughout the duration of the project.

Our breadth of experience, professional expertise and collaborative approach allow us to identify practical and implementable solutions on projects ranging from brownfields, greenfields, and infill developments, to master planned communities. Where opportunities to utilize lands managed by Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Hydro One (HONI) corridors are identified, we have over 20 years of experience obtaining approvals through the Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI) Class EA and Hydro One’s Provincial Secondary Land Use processes on municipal infrastructure projects including stormwater management facilities and associated infrastructure, municipal services and grading, and roads.
We provide end-to-end Indigenous Relations support. We specialize in planning, developing, coordinating, and facilitating consultation with First Nations. We offer strategic advice and guidance to support relationship building to help Clients work collaboratively with First Nations and Indigenous communities while aligning with the expectations and requirements of approval authorities.
